I am sorry to inform you of the death of Criss[Christopher Pew] poor fellow he as suffered a heap in the last few years he died I think Atkins said after half past 3 Oclock P.M. the day as you left in the morning you I have written to father since Criss[Christopher Pew] died? I shall be pleased to hear from you if it is convenient, as soon as possible my respects to the boys & yourself and allow me to remain as ever your Obediently Benjiman Pew[Benjamin Pew] to P.L.
