Punting on the River Cam in summer, approaching Mathematical Bridge of Queens' College, Cambridge. The distinctive bridge was designed by William Etheridge and built by James Essex in 1749. It takes its name from the popular fable that it was designed and built by Sir Isaac Newton without the use of nuts or bolts. Regretfully, the myth is untrue - a pity!
