Gatti, pubHshed in that excellent magazine TheMusical Quarterly (April, 1920).-— Its music was written to a graceful plot in a seventeenth-centuryambient by the poet Vaudoyer. In it appear tenuous, powdered, lan-guid figures, against a scenic back-ground of parks, canals, and marble,moonht palaces. Its dances are whimsical, vertiginous. A slight lovestory supphes incidental embelhshment and is rounded out, thanks tothe kindly intervention of Terpsichore and her nymphs, with whom thegoddess dance
