Poisonous sulfur dioxide plumes rise from the fissures along the rift and accumulating in the cloud deck caused by the eruption of the Kilauea volcano seen from the Hawaiian Volcano Observatory May 16, 2018 in Pahoa, Hawaii. The recent eruption continues destroying homes, forcing evacuations and spewing lava and poison gas on the Big Island of Hawaii.
