Park Manager John Adendorff uses a large pile of confiscated rifles and traps to explain poaching practices in Majete Wildlife Reserve, Malawi. African Parks has co-managed the reserve with Malawi's Department of National Parks and Wildlife since 2003. Today it protects about 12,000 large animals with more than 40 rangers. Poaching of the park's most threatened species has stopped since then. A ranger was still killed by poachers in October 2022. A ranger and Angela Berg listen beside Adendorff.
