Outside terrace seating at Saltwell Towers cafe in Saltwell Park, Gateshead, Tyne and Wear. The mansion, sited in the then Saltwellside estate, was begun in 1856 and completed in 1871 as home to William Wailes. Gateshead Council bought the estate from Wailes in 1875 to provide a public park, which has since been extended, and then both park and mansion extensively restored from 1999 onwards.
