A rare surviving 17th century tall square dovecote situated near Gop Farm. Built of squared limestone with stepped gables, door in south wall, window in north, now roofless. Stone shelving covers all interior wall space up to the eaves, with vertical stone & mortar uprights making up circa 700 nesting boxes. It would have been roofed with slate, and had an opening in the south facing gable.
