May 9, 2019 - Munich, Bavaria, Germany - ''Our Europe is not a Union''. Attempting to capitalize on increased foot traffic from the Europe Week in Munich, activists from the extreme-right Identitaere Bewegung (Identitaeren Movement, Generation Identity) set up an oversized tent that violated the Munich municipal laws at Sendlinger Strasse. The group had a maximum of 8 activists, including a well-known female activist that appears in videos and at actions. Approximately 40 counter demonstrators were present. The Identitaere Bewegung recently made news after the Christ Church massacre, after which it was revealed the shooter hat contacts with Martin Sellner, head of the IB, and donated money as well. Much of the material from the shooter’s manifesto has been transcribed directly from the propaganda of the Identitaeren Movement, including white supremacy, white nationalism, racism, genetic superiority, white genocide, and so on. The counter-demonstrators also provided informational materials for the public, as the IB uses “hipster†appearances to cover up their right-radical platforms that have been linked to terror attacks.
