The funnel will now appear perfectly empty, and maybe used as a funnel in the ordinary way. The mode of using the funnel is somewhat after the followingmanner, subject, of course, to variation, according to the taste andinvention of the performer :— A juvenile is invited to take a glass of wine, the produce of eitherof the preceding tricks* When he has imbibed it, the performer. 38o MODERN MAGIC. asks a second juvenile whether he would like a glass also.
