Red claysare largely associated with the gray sandstones towards the hills south-west of the above-named village, forming a large anticlinal curve in thedirection of the axis of the Shah Baz Ghur basin. Where this curveis crossed by the deep Algud from the Lakkona ravine, much irregularityof deposition was observed at one place on a sufficient scale to have beenmistaken in a smaller exposure for unconformity or overlap.
