Funeral of Slain Governor Of Bermuda: The State Funeral of Sir Richard Sharples, the murdered Governor of Bermudas, took place yesterday. The coffin, draped in the Union Jack and bearing the ceremonial plumed hat of office, was taken by seats the old capital of St. George where Sir Richard, and hi aide-to-camp, Captain Hugh Sayers, were buried in the churchyard of St. Peter';s, the eldest Anglican church in the Western hemisphere.
