Major League Baseball has occasionally given out its coveted Lifetime Pass, the "Golden Ticket," to veterans. On September 6, 1968, North Vietnamese shot down as A6A Intruder piloted by Navy Commander Kenneth Coskey. Held as a prisoner of war in North Vietnam, he was released on March 14, 1973.
