One hundred women, mostly from Lancashire will protest on Parliament Square, in the spirit of the suffragettes, wearing white and sporting sashes. The 21st century suffragettes will be asking MP's tp oppose rule changes over permitted fracking applications. the protestors will also present a giant postcard to the BEIS, Department for Buisness, Energy and Industry. The antifracking protestors moved to BEIS and joined in an action on the forecourt, making lots of noise and chanting "no more fracking". Some women tied their wrists to the railings as well as themselves, in a direct peaceful action.
