Ladybower dam, Derwent. 18th Oct 2018. UK Weather: When Ladybower dam was built in the 1940's the village of Derwent with its hall and church were flooded. The recent drought has caused water levels to fall and the old building, footpaths and ironwork can once again be seen. The ground is drying and greenery is taking hold Credit: Eric Murphy/Alamy Live News
