This is an old and well-known variety in the South.It is pointed, very early and of the finest flavor of any, but the head is not much more than a mass of looselyformed leaves. It is worthless for market gardenersand should only be grown in home gardens for its ten-derness and fine flavor. EARLY ETAMPES.
