The inflorescenceis very brilliant, being particularly strik-ing from having a series of the richestvermilion-crimson Poinsettia-like bracts, the lowermost of which are four incheslong, are very persistent, remaining inperfection two months. From the baseof each bract are produced pendulousflowers, in twos and threes of a creamy-white color, offering a striking contrastto the rich coloring of the other parts ofthe infloreseuce. $1.50..
