The house of John Knox (1514 – 1572), in High Street, Edinburgh, Scotland. Knox was a Scottish minister, theologian, and writer who was a leader of the country's Reformation and founder of the Presbyterian Church of Scotland. The house itself, built from 1490 onwards, featuring a fine wooden gallery and hand-painted ceiling and is owned by the Church of Scotland. It is now administered as part of the new, adjacent Scottish Storytelling Centre.
