Job Sikhala, opposition Movement for Democratic Change (MDC) Member of Parliament and head of MDC security, is denied entrance to the High Court by policement May 7, 2001. Sikhala was at the court for the start of MDC President Morgan Tsvangirai's case of terrorism charges under the Law and Order Maintenance Act, for allegedly calling for the violent removal of President Robert Mugabe, which is legislation introduced by the Rhodesian regime. Tsvangirai's defence has appealed to the High Court to have the case heard by the Supreme Court. HB/CRB
