Italy, Sansepolcro (Arezzo), september 11, 2022 : Palio of Crossbow (Palio della Balestra). It is a historical event that has been held continuously since the XV century. It is a traditional challenge with the ancient Italian crossbow from the post, between the Crossbowmen of Gubbio and those of Sansepolcro. The target is to hit the "badger", a target placed 36 meters away and the crossbowmen who manages to hit the point closest to the center of the target receives as a prize the Palio, a banner made every year by a well-known artist.
