In the emergency department of the Mongi Slim hospital in La Marsa, a northern suburb of Tunis, Tunisia, on July 23, 2021. The head of the department, Dr Nour Nouira, must manage with his team a very tense daily Covid-19 crisis. All rooms, halls and corridors of the service are requisitioned for Covid cases, while at the same time managing daily emergencies. The tension of the oxygen flow very solicited by the overloading of patients is the major problem in addition to the understaffing of the personnel vis-a-vis the variant Delta.
