UK 26 Oct 2018 - 11,000 poppies form ‘Weeping Window’, a fraction of the 888,246 originals, each one commemorating a British or Colonial life lost in WW1 have been installed at the Imperial War Museum. The poppies take pride of place, spilling out of the museum’s domed roof and cascading to the front lawn. It’s a moving tribute to those lost, which celebrates the centenary of the Armistice and the installation will be in place until November 18th a week after Remembrance Day.
