'Grace Darling and her Father Saving the Shipwrecked Crew, September 8th, 1838', (1942). In 1838 Grace Darling and her father William Darling, a local lighthouse keeper, heroically rescued victims of the wreck of the SS 'Forfarshire' off the Farne Islands.
