Glasgow, Scotland, UK, 28th November 2020. People campaign to re-open the Langside public library, in the Southside of the city, which have been closed now for 40-weeks. Campaigners maintain the libraries are needed for education, for the mental health benefits and for the wider needs of the city's most diverse local communities, during these unprecedented times of the Covid-19 global health pandemic. It is also feared the the city council will use the temporary closures as a way of keeping the libraries closed permanently. Approximately 20 libraries are currently closed within Glasgow. Photo
