Fossils of the South Downs, or Illustrations of the Geology of Sussex by Gideon Mantell, engravings executed by Mrs. Mantell (Mary Ann Woodhouse), from drawings by the author, 1822. This is plate XXV, including various Cretaceous bivalves (oyster, scallops, clams and cockles) and a brachiopod (Terebratula, in three views, to the right of the central scallop). The jaw at the bottom is from Esox lewesiensis, a salmon-like fish.
