Nic Zweifel has clipped the following from a local newspaper as an evidence of the power of advertising and the value of the trade's slogan: "Accord- ing to Joseph Murarik, proprietor of a shoe repairing shop, Greenfield avenue, his wife Barbara hpd her own interpre- tation of the florists' suggestion, 'Say It with Flowers.' Murarik, Friday, filed petition for divorce in the Circuit court, stating, among other things, that March 7, 1919, while he visited with his married daughter in West Allis, his wife threw a flower pot through the window near which he was sitting, smashing the win- dow and nearly injuring h^s grandchild. They were married August 20, 1918." Leo J. Stein has grown garden stock for twenty years and for the last eight years he has grown flowers and plants. He operates 8,000 feet of glass. Newark, O.—J. W. Dicken has sold his §reenhouses here to Mrs. Albert S. howman, who will continue to operate a florists' business..
