However, a query and reply published in the issue of December 10, 1914, under the title, "Attaching a Genera- tor," was considered objectionable by some of the generator manufacturers, as not doing full justice to their appa- ratus; 80 two of the firms sent in good- natured protests. The Review, of course, would greatly dislike to create any impression that would be in the least unfair to the manufacturers or misleading to those who ask for infor- mation. Therefore, in order to do jus- tice to all concerned and throw as much light on the subject as possible, the question about the generator is here reprinted; then follows the reply which aroused the objections; next come the letters of the two objectors, and these, again, §^e followed by a second reply from The Review's expert, written after the protests had been submitted to him. fe We are heating a greenhouse, 28x100, by the overhead, downhill hot water system, with a pipe running to the expansion tank from a 4-inch main di- rectly over the boiler.
