It happened to Mary Chipperfield (of the famous circus family) and her husband Roger Cawley, who manage the animal section of Longlest. Their daughter, Suzanne introduced Esme into their home. First the little hippo got into the kitchen cupboards, then decided to take a quick nap on the lounge room floor, before gathering strength to play with her new found friend!
