Fabio Sozza
"The only photographs I take are in my head. I see first. Then, my camera is just a means that gives me the canvas on which to paint my reality. I like to think of photography as a way to deliver visions. When I receive a vision, I feel my mission is to give it out to the world."
Fabio Sozza has been in love with photography since he was a child, growing up astonished at how beautiful the natural world is. He was brought up in the countryside, informed by a world of rolling hills, lakes, beautiful skies and silent summer nights. He started experimenting with a bridge camera and explored the use of manual controls. Then he bought an entry-level DSLR and started watching tutorials. A year later, Fabio switched to a full frame Canon camera and delighted in how much more he could express through the use of lenses. Today, Fabio is a fine art photographer and conceptual artist creating fairytale, surreal and dreamy-looking conceptual works. He believes that post production is key and is inspired to weave in the unknown and the idea of time into his photography.
