"Like a J Dilla beat or the Japanese wabi-sabi, photography does not need to be perfect to be beautiful. While there is beauty in the colorful sunset, there too is beauty in the flat morning."

"Susan Sontag once said, 'The painter constructs, the photographer discloses’. “As an artist, I’m intrigued by the gradually disappearing printed photograph, as both image and object – a receipt of a moment past. As a photographer, anything goes and there is much to be revealed. I’m as drawn to my immediate surroundings as I am to new turf. A keen eye, an ever-open mind and your camera close by, are key."
