"A portrait is a sign and its intention is a dedication to the social identity of an individual. With portrait photography, it is necessary to distinguish between the two extremes: a strictly documentary approach, as used with identity card photographs, and a study of a sitter’s character in an attempt to represent his/her personality."
Primoz Korosec is an advertising photographer born in 1981 in Ljubljana, Slovenia. He has been fascinated by portraits for the whole of his life and he can´t really explain why. His studies in Visual Communications (Master of Arts) and Politology (Bachelor of Politology) provoked an interest in the theory of portrait photography as a representation of a set of complex aesthetical, cultural, sociological and ideological interactions. His studies on themes such as “The Identity of Slovenia through Photographic Portraits of Famous Slovenians” and “The Rationality of Political Advertising” have over the years informed his photography. Primoz is a BFF professional member which represents photography and image composition of the highest quality. His prolific work has been used in numerous publications including Vogue, The Rolling Stone, Green Business, Tokyo Weekender, El Pais and Bund.www.instagram.com/primoz.korosec/ www.primozkorosec.com

"Photography gives me the opportunity to travel, to enjoy sunrises and sunsets, to observe the wild, to meet interesting people, to continuously learn. Photographers have a choice – to show a beautiful or an ugly side of a thing, or person, or process, as everything is dual. I try to show to people with my photos that beauty is literally everywhere and in everything."
Olha Rohulya was born in Lviv, Ukraine. She graduated from University with a Master’s degree in Genetics and Biotechnology with further studies in Molecular Microbiology. Four years after achieving a PHD, Olha quit science to become a self-taught photographer. Nature always really inspired her and she realized that she much preferred working in the great outdoors rather than in a closed laboratory. Early on, stock photography was the means to support her work financially. It also helped her to develop her own vision and style and learn new techniques. Olha Rohulya is now an award-winning photographer, published in many nature and lifestyle magazines, books and adverts, including Reizen Magazine, National Geographic and Zoom.nl.www.lifedancephotography.net
