It is with intense satisfaction that we can at last offer a new Early Strawberry, which bids fair to add millions to the wealth of the States and Nation, and which will be hailed with delight by Fruit Growers, Dealers and Con- sumers, throughout the world. For many years, Mr. Palmer, of Northern New York has labored to produce a large, early, productive, hand- some, richly flavored Strawberry, with a high percentage of sugar. The Prize appeared four years ago. It has been tested in every way sufficient to warrant its introduction, and we are upheld in our estimate of its great value by all Fruit Growers who have seen it in bearing, and even before the plants have been offered, ACT Size. numerous Growers have offered Mr. Palmer as high as $10.00 for 12 Plants. The Berry was originated by Mr. 1. S. Palmer, of Northern New York, four years ago. It proves to be the largest and most beautiful of all early strawberries, perfect bloomer, plants strong and robust, produces two and four fruit stalks to each plant, all of them well filled with large, berries. Berries are large, rich, dark, glossy red, perfectly conical, with flesh Red all through. Each berry is a fountain of juice. The Cut shown is exact size. The largest, best shaped, and most beautiful Extra Early Berry ever known in productiveness. It will rank with Crescent, Parker Earl, Glen Mary, Haverland, and other great yielders here in Western New York. In 1901 it ripened fully 10 days ahead of Mitchel Early, Johnson Early, and Ex- celsior. Order as early as possible, as stock is limited.
