Death mask of Russian novelist Fyodor Dostoevsky on display in the Dostoevsky Literary Memorial Museum in Kuznechny Lane in Saint Petersburg, Russia. The museum is placed in the apartment where Fyodor Dostoevsky lived twice during his life: first for a short period in 1846 in the beginnings of his career, and later from October 1878 until his death in February 1881. He wrote his last novel The Brothers Karamazov and died in the apartment on 9 February 1881.
