Are you an experienced, analytical and technically focused Finance professional looking for an opportunity to use your skills to lead a team that’s expanding its services to its global offices.

Join Alamy as our brand new Team Lead and you’ll use all of your knowledge and experience in business modelling, ROI working, business and process workflows to support the team as it expands its services to the wider Alamy business. You’ll work with the Manager to drive performance improvements and manage projects across Alamy’s offices to support the overall growth strategy in Alamy’s ambitious “Route 100” goal.

Your responsibilities involve (but not limited to) the following –

  • Prepare/review monthly management information pack
  • Prepare annual budgets and quarterly forecasts in coordination with line managers and SLT’s
  • Analyse and report on budget and YoY variances
  • Prepare/review monthly business KPI’s
  • Provide monthly reports to cost center managers on expense
  • Business modelling for new products/projects/business line etc.
  • Analyse impact of forex movement in business
  • Coordinate with development team for projects/process impacting finance function
  • Train FP&A team and ensure their development
  • Ensure accounts are maintained correctly and review schedules for balance sheet items
  • Support year end audit
  • Build and execute a methodical experimenting framework

We’re looking for someone with:

  • CA/CMA Qualified or semi qualified. Experience managing a finance team’s activities in FP&A function in a MNC is preferred
  • Exposure in preparing reports with multiple currency transactions
  • Experience in working with ERP systems. Unit4 experience preferred
  • Advanced knowledge in excel. Knowledge in PowerBI is an added advantage.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Experience in working with foreign stakeholders preferably with people in UK
  • Flexible to support UK business hours
  • Highly organized with ability to work on own initiative, prioritize workload and meet deadlines
  • People management skills

Technically you’ll need demonstrable experience of -

  • Preparing and analysing reports required by business
  • Depth analysis of margins generated for each business line or division
  • Experience managing a team
