Do you have a proven track record of ensuring a team lives agile values and principles? Can you demonstrate that you have successfully influenced the team in subtle and indirect ways, to empower and motivate the team in achieving values, and purpose in delivering software products within the last 3 years?   • You’ll be coaching and mentoring your team, the Product Owner and business stakeholders in effective use of agile methodologies and tools
  • Specifying, sizing, developing, deploying and maintaining software in accordance with industry good practice standards
  • Leading the planning and execution of development and delivery of each release
  • Developing and maintaining a skill profile for each team member, ensuring that the team is always capable of executing all relevant tasks to deliver the agreed solutions
  • Managing your team members, creating an environment that encourages personal and professional growth
  • Responsibility for facilitating daily rituals to include Daily Stand Ups, Sprint Planning and Retrospectives
  • Continually look to keep ahead of industry developments and technologies, recommending change and applying best practices to ensure we are continually improving
  • Ensuring the team has continuous contact with Product Owner and stakeholders throughout sprints and releases
  • Support recruitment and selection of new team members
  • Collaborating with other Team Leads within the organisation to improve product delivery and ways of working
  • Develop a deep understanding of domains, customers, products and technologies
  • Assisting the Product Owner with Backlog maintenance, ensuring that technical debt is kept to a minimum

We're looking for someone with:

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Master’s in Computer Application and a recognised Scrum Master certification
  • An advanced knowledge and experience of Kanban/Lean approach
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; able to motivate, influence and persuade
  • A highly organised approach, able to work on own initiative and as part of a wider global team
  • Motivation to continually work on improving all agile processes
  • An ability to plan and run consecutive sprints, able to remove blocking issues and resolve conflict
  • The ability to successfully plan the scrum implementations, helping employees and stakeholders understand and enact Scrum methodology
  • Proven experience in working with agile teams using agile methodology and frameworks like Scrum, Kanban, XP, etc.
  • The ability to demonstrate knowledge about Agile techniques like: User Stories, Continuous Integration, ATDD/TDD, Continuous Testing, Pairing and Automated Testing
  • An expertise in understanding the fundamentals of iterative and incremental development
  • Strong skills in people leadership, mentoring and coaching
