We’re Alamy, the world's most inclusive content collection of stock images, vectors and videos with over 150,000 fresh content assets uploaded daily. Your work will directly and visibly shape our overall e-commerce growth strategy and is central to Alamy’s ambitious growth plans.

As a People Leader and key senior member of the Brand & Marketing Team, you’ll lead the affiliate marketing team and will manage the Affiliate Marketing Executive. You’ll report into the Head of Brand & Marketing.

You’ll be allowed the opportunity to lead the affiliate growth strategy to build and nurture strong affiliate partnerships while meeting or exceeding revenue targets to support the business e-commerce objectives. You’ll continually strive for better to improve processes and the service we provide to our affiliate partners and have a focus on effective reporting.

We think this role would be best placed from London but can be performed remotely for the right candidate. We recognise the benefits of working in a team environment and have offices available in Abingdon and Nottingham.

What you'll be doing ...

  • Create and deliver an innovative affiliate marketing strategy to drive revenue growth and meet or exceed annual revenue target
  • Oversee the daily operations of the affiliate program including recruiting prospects, onboarding new partners, optimizing partner performance, and ensuring partner retention
  • Maximise revenue potential with existing partners by understanding their needs, analysing their performance; being agile and ready to adapt the strategy as needed
  • Develop and pro-actively manage a portfolio of affiliate clients and ensure you have in-depth understanding of the financial value of your portfolio
  • Responsible for new business via affiliate acquisitions by identifying new client opportunities in relevant territories and customer segments
  • Responsible for the retention and business growth with current affiliate partners
  • Negotiating and reviewing commercial agreements with all partners
  • Responsible for monitoring and analysing the market and legal aspects of each territory
  • Analysis of campaigns, reporting ROI results & plan conversion optimisation strategies to move forward
  • Develop and maintain market leading industry knowledge of affiliate marketing to assist with delivering a first-class service
  • Be an expert in preparing monthly statistical reports on performance and deliver ad-hoc affiliate reports. Be able to present to different audiences within the business
  • Lead the Affiliates team to create and deliver an innovative communication plan for affiliates to maximise sales including regular email communications and ad formats including web banners, text links, etc.
  • Continually look to keep ahead of industry developments, trends, and technologies, grow your understanding of best practices in affiliate marketing

What you will need ...

Do you have...?

  • Experience in growing a global affiliate marketing programme in a similar e-commerce vertical - within an affiliate network, publisher, or advertiser?
  • Success working with and managing affiliate network and advertiser relationships?
  • Experience working on Impact Radius and MediaRails software platforms?
  • Experience with CPA (Cost Per Action), CPC (Cost-Per-Click) and CPM (Cost-Per-Mill) and Revenue share payment models?
  • Excellent attention to detail?
  • A desire to continually improve processes and enhance the customer and internal customer experience?

Are you ...?

  • Experienced in coordinating complex, data driven affiliate marketing campaigns?
  • Comfortable working with CMS systems and Adobe PhotoShop?
  • Flexible and willing to work as part of a global team across multiple time zones, with meetings occasionally occurring outside of 'regular' UK work hours using web conferencing technology?
  • Knowledgeable of e-commerce and other digital marketing channels (SEO, PPC, Display, Social)?
  • Comfortable working with numerical data presented in a variety of reports and spread sheets?
  • Able to work at pace and adapt to change, rising to the challenge when faced with challenging deadlines?
