Seeking an Account Development Manager with sales experience who is looking to grow in a creative industry.

We’re Alamy, the world's most diverse stock photo library with over 250+ million (and growing) stock images, vectors, videos and 360-degree panoramic images, curated from partnerships with leading content and image sources and worldwide contributors in 173 countries.

As an Account Development Manager, you will be responsible for client outreach and the development of sales strategy to grow existing established business and to contribute to Alamy’s ambitious “Route 100” strategy. Recently purchased by PA Media Group, Alamy is receiving investments to the brand and product offerings to ensure growth and success in the years to come.

Expectations for the role include experience in a sales role and working knowledge of the sales process, developing business within existing accounts, increasing Alamy’s share and revenue opportunities with clients in sectors such as Government, Travel, Education and Publishing.

We’re open minded to the industry you currently work within as long as you can demonstrate the determination and potential to learn to understand the stock image business, target market and be able to provide a tailored approach to developing business.

You will join a well-established knowledgeable and supportive team of 3 other Account Managers and will need to be within 60 miles of New York City and be willing to commute if/when necessary or travel to meet with existing clients in and outside the Tri-State area once the pandemic subsides.

What you'll be doing ...

  • Striving to exceed annual sales targets for existing customers
  • Strive to understand the prospective customer, identifying opportunities and planning a creative and targeted approach for growth with accounts at every possible touchpoint
  • Adopting a portfolio management approach to high level spending accounts, reviewing performance frequently and forming strong customer relationships
  • Network and build relationships with customer contacts ranging from picture researchers to procurement and senior management to grow revenue across the whole organisation
  • Contribute and collaborate on ideas, opportunities and challenges as part of the matrix structure, sharing market insights

What you will need ...

  • You will need to have demonstrable sales experience of B2B account development with a focus on revenue and growth
