Bridge # 35-01-10 The Kirker Covered Bridge takes its name from Governor Thomas Kirker, Ohio's second governor, who served from 1807-1808. The structure is a one-span wooden truss covered bridge spanning the east fork of Eagle Creek just east of SR 136 in Liberty Township, Adams County, Ohio. This bridge has a sheet metal roof, high-boarded, vertical siding, projected portals and cut stone abutments. The Kirker Bridge is a 6-panel multiple kingpost truss.
