Discover the story of Pantone’s colour of the year so far as we look back at some of the shades to make the list in previous years!

Every year since 2000 Pantone has picked a colour of the year (except for 2016 where two shades were picked) – and it’s become one of the most hotly anticipated topics in the design world. Representatives from colour standards groups across the world come together to review the most prominent and upcoming colour trends, to decide on the colour that’s going to lead the way for the next year.

In our anticipation for 2018’s revelation, we’ve been looking at some of the colours and shades that have already landed the title of colour of the year.
