The festive season is upon us! Only 11 days until the 25th and I’ve barely made a dent into my Christmas shopping…if you’re like me – lacking inspiration of what to wrap this holiday season – then here are a few ideas for the photographer’s in your lives. I’ve included a mixture of fun, stocking fillers and really useful gadgets (you know the ones that you never knew you needed) and a couple of gift ideas for those who are into their mobile photography. Don’t worry – there’s still time for delivery!

Funky camera straps – well, they’re prettier than the standard Canon/Nikon straps right? Lots of choice too so you can personalise to suit the personality of whoever you’re buying for.

Creative Cloud subscription – when Adobe first launched Creative Cloud it was a bit controversial but as everyone always wants to update to the latest version anyway I think it’s great value for money. How about treat your loved one to a years CC subscription. The photography package is just £8.57 / $9.99 a month and gives you access to Photoshop and Lightroom.

Lens upgrade – upgrade your iPhone lens with a clip on lens. The Olloclip 4 in 1 is great value for money,  it includes a wide-angle, a fisheye, 10x macro and 15x macro. You can switch lenses in seconds and it just slides over the top of your phone. It also works on both front and rear facing cameras.

…and a couple extra lovely gifts for good measure

Fine art prints – print your (or their) wow images on to wow paper. There are lots of companies that offer great printing these days but check out Folio albums for individual fine art prints as well as photo books, they have a choice of 4 papers and the quality really is dreamy!

Photobooks – a photobook is always such a lovely gift to receive. Here are a few ideas for you:

With Instagram growing so rapidly over the last few years it’s about time someone published a book to bring together some of the best images from the last year. 100 million photos are uploaded to Instagram daily but self confessed insta-addict Jim Stoddart (Art director at Penguin) was up for the challenge!
Buy here – Amazon UK store.  Life on Instagram isn’t published in the US until Feb 2017 but you can pre order here – Amazon US store.

Wildlife Photographer of the Year is always such a great exhibition and the yearly portfolio is a stunning book featuring all the winning images from the last year.
Buy here – Amazon US store or Amazon UK store (or how about a ticket to the exhibition at the Natural History Museum in London?)
