If there is one phrase in movies that causes a collective stir more than any other, it’s probably “zoom and enhance”. Often used in lifeless crime dramas (I’m looking at you CSI) where the characters are merely archetypes, the scripting made up of clichés and the principles behind graphical technology completely disregarded.
