Our brand new infographic takes a look at the history of stock photography from the first established stock photo agency to the present day, but it isn’t quite finished and we need your help to complete it.
We have a lot of stock photo experts here at Alamy but we know there are many more of you out there. So let us know about any events or milestones we have missed or agencies you have worked with to help us make this a complete overview of the stock industry. Or, if you think we’ve got something wrong, let us know and we’ll look into it.
If you’re new to the world of stock this timeline gives you an outline of where it all started and how it has changed over the years.
