Birmingham, UK. 16th November, 2018. A large-scale mosaic portrait of sufragette Hilda Burkitt is on show on the concourse floor of New Street station, Birmingham. The 20 metre portrait is made up of 3,724 selfie photographs and other photographs of women sent in from all over the UK. The project, called Face of Suffrage, is deisgned by artist Helen Marshall. Hilda Burkitt was born in Wolverhampton in 1876, was convicted and jailed for breaking a window in the then Prime Minister's train carriage. Peter Lopeman/Alamy Live News
