On the 12th of December the solemn award ceremony of the initiative "The Power of the Arts" takes place for the second time in Berlin. With 200,000 euros it is the highest endowed prize for cultural participation in Germany. The prize is donated by Philip Morris GmbH. The award winners are: The intergenerational cultural initiative KulturistenHoch2, the inter-religious district cantonal Mümmelmannsberg, the action center Migrantpolitan on Kampnagel and the literary portal Weiter Schreiben. You will receive 50,000 euros each. The jury members are Dr. med. Hans-Jörg Clement (Konrad Adenauer Foundation), Samy Deluxe (rapper), Erika Hoffmann (Hoffmann Collection), Lamya Kaddor (Islamic scholar and author) and Diana Kinnert (entrepreneur and author). The event will be moderated by Petra Gute (RBB).
