One of the biggest aircraft hangers in western Europe- to accommodate three v.c. 10 jet transports and three Belfast turbo-jet firelight , was officially handed over to the Royal Air Force at Brize Norton, Oxford shire today. It was accepted on behalf of the R.A.F. by Air vice marshal R.C. controller general of the ministry of public building and works. The hanger, built at a cost of $ 1, 800, 000, is part o a 075 million program of improvements being carried out by the ministry to develop the station as the main base for the long -range strategic force of R.A.F.
