The Luzzu, Mata's traditional fishing boat. Brightly painted with a high prow are just like the ancient Maltese craft of Phoenician times. On the bow is carved 'the eye of Oris' the ancient Egyptian god of the afterlife, who supposedly wards off evil spirits.
