Arno Breker (1900 - 1991) - Kneeling Girl Bronze with dark brown patina. Signed on the right shin "Arno Breker", the right kneecap with the foundry monogram "HDS". Height circa 17 cm. In a good state of preservation. Breker originally modelled this figure in 1928 as a student in Paris. The bronze appeared in the 1960s in an edition of 50 examples. In published collections, only a single example is known in the German National Museum in Nuremberg.
