Apr. 17, 2012 - Calcutta zoo's Tigon : The Tigon is a product of mating a tiger and a lioness -and after several attempts and tragic deaths of their cubs, a male Bengal tiger called Munna and a lioness Called Munni, have succeeded in producing a Tigon, which was born in October 1972, and is a female of rare beauty. The rare animal has been exceptionally mother, so she been lef to be reared of its mother. The father - Munna, was however, kept be kept separated until the cub becomes of age. The Tigon was named recently ''Rudrani''
