It is 22i inches on the convex side, is 2.^ inclies at the large, and § inch at the small, end. It is open at the small end with a projecting dowel tube to receive the moutlipiece, which is, however, lost, as is the case with all these instruments. There is a small, solid, ring loop as though for chain or cord for suspension. It was found near Cloghoughtcr Castle, County Cavan, associated with two others. Still another of the same shape, but slightly larger, was found at Ivoscrea..
