An Italian World War Two postcard that illustrates Japan smashing the Allied Pacific Fleet. It followed the attack on Pearl Harbour that crippled the battleships of the US Pacific Fleet, and during Japan's conquest of Southeast Asia the sinkings of HMS Prince of Wales and HMS Repulse which was the first time that capital ships were sunk by aerial attack while underway.
