American author, Ernest Hemingway’s home, Finca La Vigia, in San Francisco de Paula, southeast of Havana city centre in Cuba. The house was given to the nation by Mary Hemingway, is a museum where everything is left as it was when the author left the island for good in 1960. Hemingway wrote two of his most celebrated novels: For Whom the Bell Tolls and The Old Man and the Sea. A Movable Feast was written there as well.
